Opportunity Knocks: CVA Looking for Alpine Program Director

First job offering of the year that we're aware of.  Not a ton of details, but word is that CVA is looking to get back on the map with their alpine program.  They've been expanding and refining their offerings over the last few years, so this seems like a good move to keep the alpine program on track with the rest of the school.  Regionally, they've been pretty decent of late, but there's a sense among some that the program could or should be better.  Evidence: Their program page lists Bode Miller ('96), Kirsten Clark ('95), and Forest Carey ('94) as the only three exemplary alums.  I think we can all agree that some notables have been left off that list (Lashar x2, Hoisington, Morse, Thibodeau, to name a few) but you get the idea.

As far as we can tell this is a new position for CVA.  They have head men's, women's and J3 coaches, but no titled program director as such.  This could be a huge opportunity for someone:
Carrabassett Valley Academy (CVA) located at Sugarloaf, ME seeks applicants for the full-time position of Alpine Program Director. This person will oversee and direct all aspects of the men’s and women’s alpine programs including J6- PG athlete development, coaching staff development, weekend program, full-time academy, summer camps, recruiting, and philosophy. This is a 12-month salaried position beginning in the summer of 2012. For questions and to submit a resume contact CVA Head of School Kate Webber Punderson at kpunderson@gocva.com.
