Julia Mancuso Back At It On eBay

Julia Mancuso, who says she is "trying to earn some spare change for [her] new website," is selling some pretty good stuff on eBay.  Wait.  Didn't she win a gold medal?  That has to be worth at least a few hours of web design.

There's a bunch of signed World Cup bibs, including bib number 1 from Aspen, some pretty cool Milka bibs, and one from Maribor that is my favorite because it has orange juice on it.  With about 6 days left on the auctions, the bibs are sitting in the $20-$50 range.  Could be a fun thing to have for training?

Also for sale is Julia's signature POC helmet.  It has her autograph, as well as an airbrushed tiara, and I'm pretty upset that it's only offered in size Small because there's no way it's going to fit me.  Still cool though, and would make a really awesome gift for any girl ski racer.  The helmet is currently at about $80, which is low, but you can expect that price to rise somewhat in the final day of the auction.

The crown jewel of this go-round is Julia's DH suit from the Garmisch World Championships last season.  It's an awesome suit and it's as close to one-of-a-kind as you can get.  Someone should totally buy it.  Not that it really needs much description, but the entirety of the auction listing reads:
Official Julia Mancuso Spyder Race Suit  from World Championships last season.
Does that get you pumped up or what?  Great job to whomever spent the time to come up with that vivid description.  Thomas Vonn, the world apparently needs your eBay skillz now more than ever.

Happy bidding everyone.  Please don't outbid me on the helmet.

  1. Only a one percenter could afford a bib with Orange Juice on it.
