2 Days Left to Buy A Lindsey Vonn WC Bib for Charity

Now that she's back from the homecoming dance (which is awesome, but... wtf?), Lindsey Vonn has a charity auction going on eBay for her bib from last year's World Cup GS in Semmering.  The money goes to the Navy SEAL foundation, which is an organization that gives money and support to families of Navy Special Warfare soldiers when a family member who is in the service is wounded or killed.   Having never heard of this charity before, it seems like a quality organization, and they are rated higher than USSA's charity wing for their overall performance as a charity (and for things like efficiency and accountability).  Their mission is one that has traditionally been filled by the US government, but with government support for veterans waning, more and more of these organizations are springing up to fill the void.

Bidding is currently at $560.00.  The auction description is a little drab, especially given Thomas Vonn's reputation as the progenitor of selling World Cup gear on eBay, but that shouldn't stop you.  It's a cool opportunity to support a very worthwhile cause and pick up a cool piece of ski paraphernalia, so get to it!
