Camp for Girls

Alpine ski racing, unlike all other things outdoors, has been slow to adopt the women's-specific design concept that has become ubiquitous over the last 5 years.  Yes, it is often pointless, but often these days the only thing differentiating a women's ski from a men's ski is the length, and sometimes (though not always) the flex.  To say nothing of the boots.  It may not matter much, but you'd think someone would bring that up.  Atomic made a good effort a few years ago with their blue women's equipment, but come on.  Everyone knows that boys wear blue and girls get pink.

Out to set a new standard from the coaching/training side of things is Keely Kelleher.  Details are a little scarce at the moment, but Keely looks like she's working on putting together a summer ski experience just for girls for this summer.  If you haven't plugged your daughter into one of the myriad commercial camps at Hood, or even if you have, get her set up with Keely.  We're saying that knowing nothing about the camp, but the fact is that Keely is just that good.  Send her a message on Facebook, or email her at KeelyKelleher@hotmail.com .  Sign up now.  Here's the Facebook link, and here's the description straight of the wall, for the luddites in the audience:
